If not, why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For some it&#8217;s about safety, boredom, uncertainty or maybe all of the above? I have traveled solo for most of my life and never thought twice about it. Maybe I would hesitate if I&#8217;d be traveling to remote places where there is actual danger, but that hasn&#8217;t been something I&#8217;ve wanted to do anyways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/swetravelista.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pexels-elina-sazonova-2072583small.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-610\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swetravelista.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pexels-elina-sazonova-2072583small.jpg 400w, https:\/\/swetravelista.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pexels-elina-sazonova-2072583small-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/swetravelista.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/pexels-elina-sazonova-2072583small-40x60.jpg 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>PROS: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have complete freedom to do what you want.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can absorb more of the surroundings and feel like a local (if that is what you want)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You meet more people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It builds confidence and changes you as a person, you know you&#8217;ll always have your own back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>CONS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You don&#8217;t have anyone to share the memories with (apart from sharing your pics and videos)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is more expensive both at hotels and airbnb&#8217;s, since you pay the whole bill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You might spend more money on taxis etc if you go out late at night.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Some hotels still give the smallest, most unattractive rooms to solo travelers.
