SAS Plus is not business class, but it’s the only one (currently) apart from economy on flights within Europe. Prices can vary, from anything from a few hundred more than economy (SAS Go) to a few thousand. This in SEK of course.
Included in the price is a cabin bag and a checked bag, fast track security, priority boarding, lounge access and meals/drinks onboard.

On this flight from ARN to LPA the lounge was busy and it’s honestly not much to write home about. The breakfast selection isn’t very big, but it is nice to have breakfast sitting down before the flight. The lounge is shared by many airlines and is right next to the Gold lounge. Staff were cleaning all the time, but still there were dirty dishes all over on this occasion.

On the flight itself, the first 7-8 rows are reserved for Plus. This section was full of course. Las Palmas is also a very popular destination in the winter. Legroom is normal, the seats are the exact same as the rest of the plane. (I’m 172 cm for reference)

The service in the cabin is good and the meal was fresh and tasty, although I think it would be better with warm food for a 6 hour flight. Cold cut chicken and noodles, the jalapeno sauce was nice!

Drinks are included, alcohol, soft drinks etc. I don’t drink much alcohol onboard, but I believe they serve you 3 alcoholic beverages free, then you pay.
After a few hours it’s a second service where you can pick anything you want from the snack menu (the same menu you pay for in SAS Go), this is everything from pizza slices, toasts to nuts and crisps. I opted for a bottle of bubbly and the chocolate pieces. Very tasty and a great start on my vacation in the sun!

Is it worth the extra cost? Yes! If you can get a good price! The fast track, lounge access and meals and drinks included all make it worthwhile for me.
I wholeheartedly dislike the style where the airlines make you pay for every single little thing onboard. In SAS Go, they offer you free coffee or tea, but no water? Not very nice for those of us that don’t drink coffee or tea. It’s cheapskating. With today’s airline prices, water bottles are a minimum that everyone should offer for free.
